Calling All Passionate Community Members!
Are you ready to stop complaining and start making a real difference in your neighborhood? The Greater Table View Action Forum (GTAF) is looking for new members to join our Management Committee (Manco). For nearly 10 years, GTAF has been a leading voice for the community, formed out of the frustration many of us felt with traditional ratepayers’ organizations.
As a non-profit, community-based organization, we work tirelessly to represent your interests on several key forums, including:
- Three Ward Committees
- Three Protected Area Advisory Committees (PAACs) for our local nature reserves
- The Community Policing Forum (CPF)
- Municipal Planning Tribunal (MPT)
- Community Clean-up initiatives
We need more dedicated volunteers to join our team, carry on this vital work, and help us make our community better for everyone.
Who Should Apply?
If any of the following describes you, we want to hear from you:
- You’ve seen a problem in our area and wished you knew how to fix it.
- You’re tired of the slow pace of service delivery.
- You’re frustrated with how your rates contributions are being spent.
- You’re fed up with the pollution in our community.
- You’re concerned about the level of densification in our area.
What’s Required?
Becoming a Manco member is a rewarding way to contribute to our community. The commitment involves:
- Attending bimonthly Manco meetings.
- Volunteering for our community-based activities. You’ll be assigned tasks that align with your skills, time, and interests.
